SMART CLIMATE
Digital Intelligence for Climate-Resilient Infrastructure
The SMART CLIMATE project develops a modern and integrated decision-support model aimed at strengthening the climate resilience of infrastructure in Greece.
An innovative and modern Information System is being developed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public organisations, enabling them to assess their infrastructure and plan interventions to enhance its climate resilience.
The project is implemented under the “Research – Innovate” action of the Competitiveness 2021–2027 Programme, co-financed by the European Union.
Why It Is Necessary
Climate-resilient infrastructure is essential for reducing operating costs, improving competitiveness, and strengthening protection and resilience in the transition towards climate neutrality by 2050.
What It Offers
An Information System that supports critical decisions by operational units regarding the assessment, planning and prioritisation of interventions for more efficient and resilient infrastructure.
Innovation in Practice
The project combines the use of innovative technologies for strengthening climate resilience with modern decision-support methods, contributing to the development of an innovative Information System.
